Thinkpad 760ED BIOS Upgrade issue

#1 Post by Voodoo » Wed Jun 01, 2005 10:00 pm

I actually am having an issue with an Etherneth Card which gives me the (code 29) error, asking me to assign an IRQ in the BIOS but I downloaded the latest BIOS upgrade for my Thinkpad 760ED (hxet60ww) but when it restarts the computer witht the floppy, I get a message saying the system cannot run this program and has been locked..press CTRL-ALT-DEL to restart your computer! I have a Windows 98 upgraded from Win95 on this Laptop. Any help?

The IRQ settings need to be tweaked. Download the IBM ThinkPad 760 Configuration Utility (do a Google search) to do this.
ThinkPad T60: 2GHZ CD T2500, 3gb RAM, 14.1" XGA, 60gb 7k100, Win 7 Ult
