if i could pick up a 12.2" tft screen from a later 560 in good condition, would it be just a straight swap job to replace a dstn screen on an older model 560, does anyfolk kno? i have a 133 with tft and four 100's with dstn. this stuff was bought to sell on at a small profit, but id rather try and sell for more money with the better tft screen if swapping can be done easily. nothings easy though is it..

k, thnx for the reassurance. ima still try to pickup spares laptops off of ebay or screens by themselves but ebay uk hasnt turned up much yet and it jus seem 2b low-life with sad listings so far but i guess ill grab me a tft screen or two soon.

gah! so much happening here all of a sudden after such a long time without a reply *_* mm.. thinks i do have 4 dstn 560's and 1 tft 560 so i could take the keyboard surrounds of off one of each type to confirm how the plugs compare.. if necessary to settle this dispute.. the reason i have a silly number of dstn 560's is i bought to sell on again but at the time did not know what type of screen they had. it was a good deal tho bcuz they all have good li-ion batts and come with the full kit of accessories and proper leather bags to hold all the stuff. pity the dstn screen was ever used it seem to me.. ... i hate all these smilies ~ cant find any i like ~ spoilt brat i am ^_^
