She's dead, Newt.....

Little did I know that I loved a laptop more than I thought possible until she blinked out. My venerable 600X which I use to do my infrequent boat designs on seems to have had a motherboard failure. The program I use is entirely old-school in its GUI and other needs have remained frugal in this age of gaseous bloat. It opens in about 3 secs but is magnificent in what it can help me do. The program is called ProSurf. The girl has not seen the intertubes for years and it was special to use her for this one single purpose. Plenty of beans to do the job and I love that luscious skin feel of the old 'Pads.
I'm too carried away here so this is my quierie: search as I may (of course, here too) I cannot come up with the bloody right FRU for the motherboard for this machine. 600X 650MHZ w/speedstep. Years ago I had the actual repair/replacement manual for this but alas lost it. Every other effort has left me puzzled. It's a TYPE 2645-9ZU machine.
I FOUND THIS SNIPPET: "08K3198=08K3199=08K3110. they all support speedstep technology. Include 2645-5Fx, 5GU, 5HU,9WU, 9ZU and -9Fx" Does this sound right? And how does the MHZ of the CPU fit into this all?
