T20 Floppy Drive Compatibility

hey ppl i was wondering if anyone knew if the thinkpad T20 ultrabay floppy drive works with the 770Z?

The shape of the ultrabay floopy drive which comes with Thinkpad T20 is
totally different from the drive bay of 770Z. There is no way to insert
the ultrabay drive into your 770Z.

However, the connector and the signal assignment are compatible with
770Z. So it is possible to obtain an external floppy case, 05K6187,
break it apart, take a connector out of it and hook the ultrabay floopy
to 770Z as an external floppy drive using the connector.
