Anyone know were I can get the matshita dvd-rom SR-8171 firmware update? need it to see it it will fix the problem of not reading data DVD-roms reads movies and burned movies just fine

It seems odd how the drive CAN read (most) DVD movies (including "burned" discs), but DVD data discs you can forget about. Is there something in the disc's file system that's confusing the drive?
