380XD type of monitor?

#1 Post by Blender » Mon Jan 09, 2017 11:10 pm

Hi all,

I decided that I'm going to install a legacy OS for this 380XD. I chose redhat 6.0.

The installation is going smooth but I'm stuck at this part where it says..

"What type of monitor do you have? If you would rather specify the sync frequencies of your monitor, choose "Custom" from the list."

IT DOES not have my monitor listed. Which is LG Sharp LP121SB.

I'm going to chose custom but im not sure what the vertical sync and vertical refresh rate is.

Which should I choose? Any help is always appreciated.

The LP in LP121SB indicates it is an LG screen, not Sharp.
But Sharp also made screens for that model, the LM121SS1T53.

Such old datasheets won't have the "vertical" info you want.

Thanks RealBlackStuff

I am going to ditch the install because i dont want to risk breaking the screen.

The vertical refresh rate will most likely be 60Hz.
