701c Hinge Plate

#1 Post by Thinkpad4by3 » Sun Mar 26, 2017 8:50 am

I see that on the 701c, there is a metal bracket that the hinge screws into. It also is in the 701c HMM. Is that bracket removable because I`m getting a replacement LCD Back Piece and I don't know if I will need to swap the metal brackets? What are they and what do they do?
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.
