701c LCD Replacement without total disassembly

#1 Post by Thinkpad4by3 » Mon Mar 27, 2017 6:14 am

Is there a way to replace the LCD assembly without taking out the whole keyboard? I can't find my T1 screwdriver :x.!

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

I decided I found a Allen Key 0.7MM and guess what? It fit. Who knew a .7 Allen Key fit in case anyone also cant locate those pesky T1 bits. :D Well, just after I found that the doorbell rang with a shipment of 701c parts. Coincidence??
