Hi all,
This isn't really specific to any legacy ThinkPad, but on my 755CD I am attempting to configure a PCMCIA to Compact Flash adaptor with a 128MB CF card in it so I can use the CF card to transfer files to the laptop.
The laptop is using Windows 3.11 and Dos 6.22 and so far I am able to use the CF card in Dos using an ATA enabler called unata.exe, which is a trial application so won't last forever. Is there a native way to configure a PCMCIA CF adaptor with Dos, or are there any freeware applications to do this?
Take a look at our

Re: PCMCIA Compact Flash drive in Dos
1: Upgrade that puppy to W95. A 755CD needs W95.
2: Get a Sandisk CF card and make sure it is in Fixed Disk mode.
3: Put in adapter and install Windows.

I thought they were originally shipped with Windows 3.11. I have another HDD with Win95 on it and that one finds the CF card and adaptor as soon as it's plugged in.
