Anyone have 365X/XD BIOS 1.10?

#1 Post by LarBob » Fri Mar 30, 2018 7:42 pm

I've been looking for the latest BIOS for the 365X/XD but all the links I've found seem to be broken and it's not present at https://thinkpads.com/support/Thinkpad- ... /365x.html either.

Thanks all!

Thanks. Is there any way to force it to update without a battery? It wants a charged battery in order to update.

Try this method:
/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=78263&p=517914#p517914
I do not see any lines like that in the version of UPDTFLSH for this ThinkPad. Here is a zip containing the exe:

Look in the 365X HMM (tpvol3.pdf) on page 102.
It shows the battery "pinout"
Compare with T40 HMM page 40 (5-pin battery), if you don't have one, then
Compare with T60 HMM page 35 (6-pin battery, valid for all current external batteries).
See HMM link at top of page.

Make a temporary bridge between a working new(er) battery and your old motherboard connector.
Just the + and - pins should do it.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
