ThinkPad 300 & 700C Power Info | Help

#1 Post by wooty » Thu Aug 02, 2018 2:03 pm

Hello, I recently aquired a couple ThinkPad 700C's, a ThinkPad 300 and a 700 series docking station! I am missing chargers for these guys and having a hard time finding more info, I have bricks with similar specs but not sure how the sense pin works or if there's anything I need to be careful about doing. The 300 is the one I am having the hardest time finding out anything on..

Really the first question I have is this: What is a good way I can power these guys up without having the original charger or pinouts of ports?

For the 300 you are looking for part number 33G6490 according to http://ps-2.kev009.com/eprmhtml/eprm2/f3337.htm Someone in the German forum seems to have had trouble finding this as well https://thinkpad-forum.de/threads/12096 ... RU-33G6490

Get the manual http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc ... tpvol1.pdf

For the 700C you need the 49G2196 which is the polygon style (manual http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc ... tpvol2.pdf)
