legacy Thinkpad Recovery/Driver discs

#1 Post by null_unit » Sat Oct 06, 2018 5:48 am

Please let me know if this is not an appropriate post for this forum ...

In the early-mid 2000s, I ran a laptop chop-shop/service center. I find myself with an obsolete, but nearly complete collection of Product Recovery, Software Selection, and Customization CDs nearly every first gen Thinkpad ... . all variations of 760, 380, 390, 240, 600, 770, iSeries, etc. And a few of the earlier A20 ,T20 and X20-21 models.

I also have fairly comprehansive assortment of service/driver CDs for Compaqs, Toshibas, Sonys, HPs, Dells, etc from the time period ...along with Hardware Maintenanace Manuals and various IBM Certification/PC Learning materials.

as it's probably illegal to sell them (some discs contain operating systems), i'll offer them up to anybody that might have some use for them, or some desire to archive them for whatever reason. I'll ship them (provided you pay posting).

I have a great deal of nostalgia connected to these materials ... it seems a shame to just toss this stuff out. Which I will do very soon if there is no interest
