Thinkpad 755C

#1 Post by Thinkpad4by3 » Fri Nov 30, 2018 11:18 pm

My TP 755C is dead. I tried it on two different chargers and power is shown to be drawn as one is warm. Slide the switch and nothing. No beep or lights. This is one of my favorite machines and it becomes the test bed for many of my projects. What can I do?!?

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Have you verified the connection between the AC plug and the laptop is secure? These machines sometimes "wiggle" loose over time. You might have to open the machine to ensure the AC connector hasn't loosened up from the board or that the solder connections haven't broken.

No the connection is good with both my adapters and they work my other 755CDV. That's not the problem.

I really don't want to open it up if I don't have to.
