Weird IBM Docking Station

Look what I found on ebay.

This is a docking station that google doesn't know of. P/N 8716170 Looks like it's for 3xx, 7xx series due to connector. It's enormously heavy, yet not too big. And has the tilting fuction for some reason. Does anyone has the idea what this is?
Maybe something for ISS :D

IBM rebranded a Panasonic CF-01 tablet and made it an IBM Thinkpad I believe for the Japanese market. This is it's dock.
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.
