770 CMOS battery

#1 Post by farmer kev » Tue Jul 05, 2005 1:21 pm

Pulled the cr2025 out, 0.2 volts.
Well I don't have another just sitting loose and I'm not about to remove one from the other 770.
However, I do have a cr2032, which is a bit thicker that the other.
Anybody try this size?
They are both Panasonic 3V cells, 2.4mm vs 3.2mm.

EDIT:
Went ahead and tried it, on a 700 it won't snap all the way in, didn't check if it worked electricly it may have but you couldn't get the memory cover back on so why bother.
