600E Run Time

Using a new 4200mha aftermarket battery and a UltraSlimBay battery (FRU 02K6505, 2800mha) with full charges I booted up the new to me 600E.
I noted the time, turned off the power savings so the screen and hard drive stayed on, left it running the marque screensaver.
Best run time I ever got before on a laptop was 2 hours so when this setup ran for 6 hours (4%) I was stunned.
Granted I wasn't doing much but if it will run for 3 hours working hard I will be very happy.

So, are my numbers in the ballpark?

Wow that's great. I have just one battery, and it runs for 3 1/2 houres idle. you struck Gold my freind.
I think I'll get one of those ultra-slim deals.

I should have mentioned that was running Win2k.
