hi,
What is a maximum ram size for this model ?
Thinkpad 390X 2626HNG Pentium II 400
for thinkpad 390X pentium III, max size is 512mo, my model is pentium II.

According to the HMM: max. 256MB, but IBM (and Lenovo) usually published these data before larger SODIMMs were available, and then never updated the HMM.
So why not try 512MB as well?

ThinkWiki indicates that folks have already tried and found the unofficial max RAM to be 512mb.

I can confirm, that 512MB is maximum supported by 390X. You can read more about it in this topic.
