THINKPAD 380XD does not power on

#1 Post by CASABORG » Wed Sep 15, 2021 9:07 pm

First of all, thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to enter this community.

I would like to know your thoughts regarding a problem I have with my 380XD. Well, I made the mistake of exchanging the memory that was installed for another from an IBM 600C, thinking that I could expand the memory. Well, from the moment I put it on, the 300XD didn't turn on anymore. Could this wrong memory swap have burned something? The only sign of life that the 380XD has is when I insert the connector and the lights come on when doing this. But when turning on with the switch it does not turn on.

I hope I have explained myself correctly.

Without further ado, thank you very much for the help.
