760 SVGA and XGA screen P/Ns or differences?

#1 Post by solidpro » Wed May 18, 2022 3:41 am

Hi All

I'm trying to restore a couple of 760 machines and in the process noticed that the EL is SVGA and the XD is XGA - however so far in the ones I have, the screens appear to be the same. In the TFT matrix they're different but no IBM part number is listed.

In the screen I pulled from the XD is has BL part number 82H5226 and IBM part number 82H5250. As I am looking to keep the XD XGA, I will need to replace the screen but can only easily search if I know this faulty screen *is* the original (as the EL and XD screens are interchangable, but different specifications).

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

The 760 HMMs (tpvol3.pdf and vol4hmm.pdf) have many different LCD numbers, but not yours...
