I've got 4 of these keyboards and they're all in fantastic condition - they all look like they have hardly any wear and I would love to use them in future restores. However they all come up with an error code 08611 which appears to be related to the trackpoint.
Unfortunately on the machines I've tried these on, if the trackpoint fails the POST, you can't get any further into the boot process.
Has anyone had a similar experience and worked out a common repair or troubleshooting? I have checked the ribbon connectors are in good order with no corrosion...
