#1 Post by carloz » Mon Jul 25, 2005 5:49 pm

Hi all:

I just got a 701c butterfly: It does not boot; when I push on the power switch, it gives back 3 beeps and then stop. Moreover, if I keep the switch pushed the power light keep on stay on green. If I leave the switch the laptop turns off immediately.

Any help or suggestione would be REALLT aprreciated.

Best regards

Not sure what the problem is, but... I would start by making verifying that the battery is charged and your AC adapter is good. If you can't tell, I would remove the battery completely, and try running the computer off the AC adapter alone. If it works, you need to replace your battery. If it doesn't work... then I'm not sure...

Any other ideas out there??
