Backlight / display from 750c or 755c

#1 Post by solidpro » Mon Aug 25, 2025 2:25 pm

Hi All

I am trying to bring a 750c back to life and all is well apart from the CCFL tubes have both blown. Before I set about trying to replace them, if anyone has a working 750c or 755c display - doesn't matter if it's smashed, I just need one with a working set of CCFL tubes, please let me know.

I have a feeling I'll end up having to extract the existing tubes and wire in some new ones - anyone got any suggestions where I get them from?

Thanks

Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
But I actually prefer Murphy's from Cork!

Do you consider a LED backlighing retrofit?

I've successfully done this on a 770's 13.3" LCD panel.
