Problem installing PleapCCP_V5_1_0_0_1.rar

Still preparing to upgrade the cpu. Am reading thinkpads.com for hints/fixes, and waiting for 600X fan to arrive. I cleaned the HD and did a fresh install of Win 2000 on my TP 2645 4AU. Everything has installed or downloaded without problems and the computer seems to run great.......no problems at all until I try to download the Powerleap cpu control panel (I want to do this before I upgrade to the 500mhz cpu; I already have the INET36WW BIOS). Each time, the Pleap background screen comes up so that it "looks" as though the download is successful. Then, this appears:

An error occurred during the move data process:-113

File: C:\DOCUMEN~1\HENRYF~1\LOCALS~1\temp\wzs3c.tmp\data1.hdr
and the download disappears. I tried the download multiple times. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, how did you work around it? My download site is (apparently) in China, the only one I have found so far with the "rar" ---is there a better site from which to download the panel?

laptop_wizard......the link is in Chinese(?) and I cannot make heads nor tails of it. Where on the link do I click to translate it into English? Sorry to be so dense, but I am not a techie, by anyone's definition. Is there any other free download tool to manage the cpu, other than the Pleap? Just in case I can't get Pleap to download. Thanks. I STILL cannot get it to work. Is the Pleap control board the only known piece of software that can be used with the 600e cpu upgrade? Seab

The PowerLeap CPU Control Panel Utility and the PowerLeap Cache Utility come from a company called PowerLeap. The best source for this software is one of the PowerLeap websites:

I always thought these were a single company, but it looks like they are two separate companies. In any case, here are links to the two pieces of software you are looking for.

Thanks to you, Phil, I have now successfully downloaded and opened the PowerLeap version 5.1. I assume that the "Force L2 cache to enable" (mark it as ON), under "Advanced Settings" is what I will need to check after I have the new cpu installed?
Thank you also for the Cache Utility Tool. I have downloaded it but it refuses to open, saying that it can only be used by a Pentium III (to be installed this week!). I appreciate your instructions and clean links.
Will post again as soon as my upgrade to a Pent. III is complete...I know it will be successful if I do not break anything......
