I am currently prepairing a (thinkpad 600E 2645-5AU.
cleron 500MHz 256 ram 1 PC100 sodimm 1 PC66 sodim, 4gig HD. XP PRO)

Really funny thing is sometimes it won't turn on untill a couple of tries, lights turn on, but nothing comes on the screen, untill I take the battery and Ac out and stuff, I suspected the onboard 32mb Ram. i disabled it in the bios hex editor, seemed too be doing better. the thing is I keep switchi ng hardrives out back and forth too get different info.
I have the lasted bios update, inet36ww. anyone know what could be the cause? this Is new to me.
