390E 14.1 Display problems

#1 Post by xntriklytwzted » Sat Jun 26, 2004 4:58 pm

One of my 390E's ( 2626-EOU ) has some display problems.

When I power on, the display lights up, but only goes to a complete light grey color. No letters etc. I can hear everything working just fine, but no display.

Anyone know what I would have to replace to get this thing to work?

Thanks all,

Chris

Do you have video output through your vga connection to an external monitor? If so, it could be the cable from the mainboard to the lcd display or the display itself.

Oh yeah, one other thing, do you have the video set to display to the lcd or both the lcd and monitor? Just an idea. Check the button that gets pushed when the lid is closed as well.
