2645-45U MB upgrade

I just acquired a 2645-45u with a bad MB. After reading some of the posts in here, I see that this model is the oldest and least upgradeable as far as CPU options.

My question...... Since I am replacing the MB anyway, will one from a 600x or 600e fit? It appears the 600x MB will afford me the most CPU options.

Any help will be appreciated.

Well, at least in my name I admitted I was confused. Sorry this went into the wrong place. I THOUGHT I was putting it into the thinkpad 600 section.
