I've bought a 760E & need to connect it to my home network, I think I need a PCMCIA card? will any type fit or do I need a specific type?

That should work fine. The 760E has CardBus (or 32-bit) slots. That card is CardBus - you can tell because it has a gold-colored edge connector.

The auction says it's for Windows 2000 or later, so you might check IBM's site to be sure they have a driver for your OS.
