400MHz in a 770ED ?

Will a 400Mhz processor from a 600 work in a 770ED ?
There seems to be a number of open 600 motherboard/chassis on eBay that I could harvest the processor from. Just want to make sure I get one that's compatible in the slot for my current 266mmx.
