Powerleap stopped!

#1 Post by bikereff » Tue Sep 06, 2005 11:30 pm

Hello to all,

Well, the upgraded 770z (PIII 450Mhz, 256M ram) was working fine until I upgraded the operating system from 98SE to Windows ME. The upgrade was due to 98SE started a nasty habit of crashing regularly.

The problem is the Powerleap cache utility stopped working for the L2 cache and will not come up. I tried to download a fresh copy and re-install but no go.

Any ideas on what happened? Will the Powerleap CPU control panel work instead?

You guys were great during the upgrade, now I'm hoping someone has run into this before.

Thanks.

I got the L2 cache working last night. Even though Powerleap CPU control panel doesn't say anything about Windows ME, it does work with it and enabled the cache. Just wanted everyone with the same or similar situation to know.
