701C: CardBus with AMD 133 Upgrade board?

I read all the 701c messages and found one reference to CardBus slots being available on the AMD 133 upgrade system board (JHEM said this, to be exact). Can anyone confirm this and/or point me in the direction of specifications for these upgrade boards? Everyone mentions the speed upgrade and the 64MB RAM capability, but if it really does have cardbus slots this would seem to me to be the single most important reason to do the upgrade. It opens up 802.11g, USB, etc.

Sincerely,

I doubt that you'd have CardBus after perfroming the upgrade as CardBus is essentially a modification of PCI and the AMD133 motherboard still runs the ISA bus for expansion.

Hmm, I'll have to check. I moved recently and during the packing discovered the 133MHZ upgrade board from CUUINC; I'd bought it on eBay but never installed it (still plan to). I seem to recall it added the CardBus option as well, or claimed to.

Okay, I've been fiddling with my old Thinkpads and had a chance to check the new 'board. First, I have to say how impressed I am with the job cuuinc did on it; I've got a regular board from a 701 loose and compared the two and it looks as good as the factory motherboard.

Second, nope, it's not CardBus. Only my 16-bit cards would fit in the pc card slots. Little bummed - I've got a CardBus card that adds USB 2.0 slots, and I'd have liked that option on a 701 :)
