one column of keys not working on 701c keyboard

Well, don't ask how I only just discovered this. The 701c I just bought has a problem with the keyboard. The 2,w,s, and x keys do not work. I just ordered a set of micro-size torx drivers (T1-T8). Does anyone know what the chance is that this is simply a loose keyboard connector? Or will I have to replace the whole keyboard?

I also acquired a 755C. I have the same problems, but with the C, D, E, 3, and F2 to F4 keys. I read the HMM for 755C s and something could be wrong with the "interfacer card." Or cables could be loose which I think is unlikely.
