I just learned yesterday in my own 600E (2645-8AU), that PC133 "may" work. I ordered two sticks of PC100 off of ebay, and when I got them, I saw that they were PC133 (High Density). I tried them anyway and to my surprise they worked!!   :D :D :D

The part number for the 2 that I have is: MC-4516CD642XS-A75 (by Elpida)

This certainly doesn't mean that ALL 600Es will take ALL PC133s.

Note: This worked before I even had a chance to upgrade to the latest version BIOS. (Had to wait for a spare battery)

Seeing as a new thread popped up for this, I'll put the information I was able to gather on my PC133 experience here.

My 600 (2645-45U) works fine with 256MB of PC133 SDRAM.

The modules showed no manufacturer name, but there was a sticker on them. The information on the sticker was as follows:

M15T-1664 - 60JCMGU
16*64 SDRAM PC133MT
128MB

The modules have four chips on each side, for a total of 8 chips on each module.

All of this memory is recognized and available in Windows. This gives me 288MB of usable RAM, including the 32MB that is built onto the motherboard.

Hope this is of help to someone someday.
