600x 500 MHz.. What are my options?

Okay, I read the sticky, but it really didnt clear up what I want, mainly because of mine being a 500 MHz P3.. I am looking for the 800-1GHz range of things here (Hey, I dream big).. I will be using this thing for light video editing, web surfing, email, and office applications.. Any info you all can supply for me would be great! Here's what she is:

ThinkPad 600x (2645-5EG)
320MB RAM
~18 GB HDD
13.1" screen
COMPOISITE video out
24x CD
Windows 2000
Trackpoint that has gone crazy (Need to wait till payday to get a new keyboard)
