Wireless Cards don't fit

I've been hoping, hoping & hoping to get my old Thinkpad 560 wireless.

I've bought two Intel wireless cards of late, and I bought a Belkin card previous.

The Belkin fits no problem, but why wouldn't the Intel cards fit? The latest which is for a Home Anywhere Wireless kit is the same size as the Belkin, but it won't fit in the PCMCIA.

Any ideas guys?

It's a bit late for me right now, or I would post more information. I can tomorrow, if you can bear with me?

Kind regards

Brian

Older PCMCIA slots are not the same as newer ones. Specifically, PCMCIA cards for my 1998 Toshiba Libretto are not interchangeable with newer laptops. ... JD Hurst

Make sure the Intel cards aren't CardBus. CardBus will have the gold colored tab at the bottom.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think the 560's took CardBus.

I'll get the full details today..

I wasn't aware that they were Cardbus, and they are not Gold in any way.

The connections look almost identical, but when I get the information from what I have I will know for sure.

Thank you
