Error 301

#1 Post by emf » Tue Oct 11, 2005 8:18 am

2 or 3 times, when I start the computer I get Error 301 which guide me to the Bios tests, all of them are OK. Them, somehow, I manage to make it start windows normally and everything is OK. What causes this problem, and how can I avoid it, and exactly what to do after it comes up?

IME that means bad keyboard, keyboard cable or simply a stuck key
is there a letter next to the code?

That's relieving to hear. No letter next to the code. Occasionally, however, the Ctrl key does get stuck. I will check it next time it happens. Thanks, emf
