Are you sure you have a drive in there that has an OS properly loaded and ready to boot?

hey alpha how you doing? this is for your old 600e. i replaced the system board and put in one of the hard drives you sent.if i remember correctly you put an os on the disk before you sent it.
i havent been able to get anymore 760e machines. how are the machines i sent you working?

Doing great, yourself? I'm glad to see you back.

Glad to hear that 600's working, that's great to hear. you make me jealous. How about the 755CD, is that seeing any use?

Well, the complete 760E you sent lives on again with a new bottom chassis so it can hold a CD-ROM. Before performing that upgrade, the computer had remianed in many pieces for quite a while. After doing that upgrade, I decided to let one of my classmates borrow the computer for the schoolyear so it's in daily use by one of my friends now.

The internals from the 760E bottomhalf you sent and the new in box XGA screen you sent I used to upgrade my 760ED to an XGA machine. I also used a vid card from a 760XD I found a while back so I can get MPEG acceleration and video in/out. I use that computer on a daily basis as my main laptop.

As for the hard drives, if they don't boot, then try using a Win98 boot disk and run the "sys c:" command. That should fix it, hopefully.

Oh hey, you have any more parts of any sort laying around? No full machines nessicary, I'm almost on my way to having enough parts to build another 760. If so, PM me the list, I have a few new computer parts myself.
