Hello everbody,
I have a Thinkpad i1500 (Typ 2621BB9) and I really love that one. Some days ago my Harddisk (Travelstar 6GB) crashed and i wanted to replace it.
So I looked up in the manual what the maximum Size of the Harddisk could be. It was said that i could be max. 12 GB, but i want a larger one. So i search in the IBM Support page and found a bios update, but the readme didnt say anything about if the max. HD Size increased. Does anybody know if it is possible to use a large HD than 12 GB in this Notebook? and what should i do to make it possible? Are HD from other Vendors usable?
Thnx a lot !
Beseth
