765L BOOT PROBLEM

#1 Post by gg555 » Fri Nov 25, 2005 3:28 pm

Hi,
Just got hold of a 765l 166mz tp, that does not boot properly. Posts O.K., starts to load win95, then shuts off. Try to reboot and get 2 beeps. Pull power cord and battery pack, plug power back in, then can reboot until OS starts to load, then shuts down again on it's own. Anyone have this happen before ???
Thanks

Thanks SeanM !!!!!
That's the cure. I have 2 760's with keypad suspend-switch actuators broken. I was going to jumper the traces, but decided to get a couple keypads off ebay.
Thanks for the info
