Hi, guys I changed my Hdd from a 4gig to a 40gig and I no more hear the fan noise.

What a releif!! Anyone experienced the same thing?

You were probably hearing hard drive noise. I had a 600E with a noisy hard drive once. However, the noisy hard drive was not the original one. The original hard drive was quieter than the replacement.
