600X 2645-3EU DVD Playback

I just recently bought a dvd drive for my 600X. It was supposed to be for a T model, but I just changed the end "plug" and added another part from the original cd drive. The only problem is that when I play DVD video in any media player the video seems to be only fullscreen, that is I can't resize the video. Its not too bad, but sometimes I don't want to watch a movie fullscrees. Does anyone know how to fix this, or have any suggestions? Also note that a divx movie I played can resize, as well as any other "data" movies. thanks a lot.
