I've updated my 600e to PIII 650, run fullspeed , but it is too hot ,when play rmvb film ,the cpu temperatue is up to 90℃. So I made CPU core voltage down to 1.55v,the cpu is cooler ,but the full speed mode is not stable, sometimes can not run fullspeed, just 500MHz.And the cpu temperature is higher more.
I tried other core voltage, and I found 1.35v is the most fitable voltage for 600e.

Yea 1.35V core works on the earlier MMC-2's but is not stable for the 750Mhz, 800Mhz, or the 850Mhz MMC-2 boards...the lowest stable vcore that work with thoughs is 1.48. That is done by removing R3 and R14 on the MMC-2 module.
To get the 1.35V vcore that he is talking about you need to remove R5 on the MMC-2 board which gives a .2V vcore drop. This has been proven to be realativly stable on the 500Mhz to the 700Mhz MMC-2 modules.

A little articsilver 5 between the CPU and fan would help that.
