Do any 770, 600 or Transnotes have USB2 and 1GHz+ CPU?

Older ThinkPads.. from the 600, the 7xx, the iSeries, 300, 500, the Transnote and, of course, the 701

Do any 770, 600 or Transnotes have USB2 and 1GHz+ CPU?

Hi

I am looking for a used laptop that I can connect to my hi-fi for a specific project. For this I need a minimum 1Ghz processor, plus Cardbus, USB2 and Ethernet. Basically I'm looking for the cheapest and/or quietist option. Could anyone tell me whether any of the 770, 600 or Transnote models meet these specs please? I'm posting a similar query in the T2x/T3x forum and the R/A/G forum, as I'm unfamiliar with anything pre T4x.

All the best :-)

Mike

The answer to the 1.0ghz processor question is no for the 600/770/Transnotes.

As for the USB 2.0, they didn't come with 2.0, but you can add USB2.0 to almost any system via PCMCIA slots.

The T23 is the oldest system that came initially with a 1.0Ghz processor (1.0-1.2Ghz). I believe that a 1.0Ghz might be able to be added to a T22 to meet your minimum requirements.

Again the T2X series didn't come with USB 2.0 either, but as I stated before, you can add 2.0 via PCMCIA cards.
