I went use my 770 last weekend and found that the battery was dead. I plugged it in and used it for a hour or two and the charge indicator stayed at 0%. Do you think my battery just died, or is there some other problem I can check for.
Thanks
David

I use 770ED too,and my battery has been dead for a long time !
But it is not important , because 770ED is heavy to mobile.
Since I knew how to updata 770ED's BIOS without Battery , it mean nothing to me .
Sorry for my poor English

The battery seemed to hold a charge for a long time, I've never really timed it to see how long it lasts.
The laptop doesn't get used a lot, but it always charged and the battery lasted longer than I never really needed to use it for.
I hadn't used it for a couple months and pulled it out to trouble shoot a XP install on my desktop and the battery was at 0% and after a couple hours on A/C power the battery indicator never left 0%.
I mainly use it in vehicles and run it off an inverter to power the AC adapter. It's just nice to have the battery in case the inverter comes unplug.
