Hello, This is my first post to this fourm. I just bought a 600X that is loaded with: P3 500 Mhz
192MB Ram
12Gb HD
DVD-Rom
I know its not the most powerful laptop or newest laptop around but hey, it only cost me $350.00
The only trouble that I have with it is that the speakers are not very loud. Is it a common problem with the 600x laptops?

First of all, welcome to the Club! Have you turned up the volume in Accessories>Entertainment>Volume Control (Master volume)? By the way that's a really good price. Enjoy your TP.

The 600 also had a Fn key combination to turn up the hardware volume, Fn+PgUp I believe.

I only noticed in at least two 600e's that the maximum sound volume attainable in win98se have increased after upgrading to the latest bios. I wonder if this is also true for the 600x.
