Hello all. First off, many thanks to all of you for the excellent tips and advice given out on this board. Here's my problem. I have an IBM Thinkpad iSeries 1200 type 1161, and the onboard 64MB is bad, which is rendering the machine unusable. Is there a way to disable the onboard mem, as with the 600e models, so that I may install a stick in its slot and just use that? Perhaps one could dump the BIOS code and hex edit it like so?
Thanks for any advice.
