#1 Post by jc457 » Sun Mar 05, 2006 5:43 pm

Last night when i tried to boot up the screen would come up as usual saying ok and thinkpad but the yellow light would go out(sorry don't know correct name) and screen would just stay at ok. I tried sveral times but the same thing would happened. When i woke up this morning everythingg worked perfect. Can someone tell me the reason for this if it happens again i'll know a little more. Thanks all

Check you battery, the yellow light is typically a dead battery signal. When it is charged, the light is green? atleast on my 600x. My dog shut off the power strip one day and my wife laptop did what yours did.

Once the power strip was turned back on and the battery charged everything was ok.
