I NEED A NEW BATTERY MINE DIED, I SEE ALL KINDS OF THEM ON EBAY THAT SAY THEY ARE COMAPATABLE FOR THE 12J2464 AND HAVE A MAH 4200 TO 4400 ARE THESE SAFE TO USE ON MY THINKPAD? THANK YOU.

Yes, a more powerful 4200MAH or 4400MAH battery will work just fine.

The only thing to be careful of, is that sometimes the generic batteries will not register properly. The battery light might continue to flash, but yet it might still be holding a charge.

Just make sure that the seller that you buy from offers a warranty and has excellent feedback.

The one I'm using is 3600maH with a brand name of "Road Warrior". I just recently bought it and its seems to work just fine.

THANK YOU JUST BOUGHT THIS USED 600E AND THE BATTERY IS DEAD AND REALLY DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT I COULD USE TO REPLACE IT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSES.
