Thinkpad type 2662 bad LCD

Hello all. I have a Thinkpad type 2662, I believe is an X22 series, with a corrupt screen. There is a bright white stripe running vertically down the middle of the screen. The stripe looks like white glowing light. The display isn't garbled or anything though. I think it might be a bad LCD inverter board or something like that. Any ideas? Does anyone know how much that might cost to replace?
