Docking Stations

#1 Post by makaveli559m » Sun Mar 26, 2006 6:07 am

Are there really docking stations that you could install a PCI graphics card? I am looking for a docking station like that for my Thinkpad A20m

Docking Station For A20

Yes, there is a full Dock available for the A Series (actually, the same dock is used for the T2/3x, A2/3x, X2.3x Series). It has an internal PCI slot that would allow you to put in a PCI video card although I've never done it myself. I'm sure there are other forum member that have done this though. My wife and I share one at home for her A30 and my T23. We've actually used the same one for an A21 that she had previously. There is also a stand that it sits on if you want to use an external Monitor.

As an aside, you might want to check with the administrator to see if you can get this thread move to the A/R areas so you can get more info.
