Device conflict help

Hi -
I just got my hands on a Thinkpad 600E w/ 128 MB Ram and a 4 GB HD.
It came with no OS installed, and I installed Windows 98SE.
It seems to work fine, but there is a conflict in the device manager under Hard Disk contrrollers:
There is an "Intel 82371AB/EB PCI Bus Master IDE controller" that conflicts with 2 "Standard Bus Mastering IDE Controller(s)".

The conflicts are:
I/O range 01F0-01F7
I/O range 03F6-03F6
Interrupt Request 14
I/O range 0170-0170
I/O range 0376-0376
Interrupt Request 15
I/O range FCF0-FCFF
All the conflicting resources are in use by the Standard Bus Mastering IDE Controller
Things I've tried:
- Removing the three devices (in various permutations) but on re-boot it re-detects them.
- Started from scratch, re-formatted the hard drive and re-installed '98, but the same thing happened.
I found all the other drivers on the IBM site, but I could not find anything that addresses this issue.
It does not seem to cause much of a problem (system boots fine and runs various apps fine as well), but I'm not too comfortable using a computer with a conflict like this.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Andy
